The Chamber Council

The Council is made up of volunteers from industry who dedicate their time and effort to the running of the Chamber. Elections for the council are held on an annual basis at the AGM, typically at the start of the calendar year. The Chairperson is elected for the maximum of two one year terms.

The Council has been organised into Committees. Each Committee will have 2 Council members working in their respective group.

1. Education Committee – focusing on support to students and education institutions as well as a student mentor programme. education@irishchamberchina.com
2. Events Committee – to organise joint inter-chamber events, our own events and also members’ promotion events or factory visits. events@irishchamberchina.com
3. Membership Committee – setting up and promoting advantages for each membership category. membership@irishchamberchina.com
4. Treasurer -  membership, sponsorship and events fees treasurer@irishchamberchina.com
5. Business Liaison Committee – Linking all semi-state bodies and sister Chambers in HK, Beijing and Ireland and coordinating Irish visits with companies as well as student mentor programme for students. businessliaison@irishchamberchina.com
6. Communications Committee – Advertising and promotion as well as website, email, blogs, LinkedIn etc communications@irishchamberchina.com
