List of UnionPay ATMs in Ireland
NOTE : Only certain cards work on ATM’s overseas. Mainly the ones with a chip and begin with 62 will only work!
ALSO NOTE : EURONET ATM’s charge €3.95 + minimum of 10% commission
DUBLIN :
1 – Tourist office across from trinity College – Not working June 10th 2019
2 – O’Donoghues pub just off Grafton Street. Not working June 10th 2019
3 – Penney’s in Swords (Not working)
4 – atm on liffey street across from arnotts with a yellow and blue sign beside the joke shop
5 – atm at candy lab in temple bar – used this Dec 2018, worked OK but was a €3.95 charge
6 – atm outside abbey court hostel on bachelors walk. Worked June 10th 2019 (limited withdrawals)
7 – talbot street
8 – atm inside dealz blanchardstown (Not working)
9 – atm on parnell street beside tesco across from jury’s inn
10 – small shop next to the Lord Edward pub (directly opposite Christchurch) has an ATM that takes Union Pay too
11 – ATM beside Hard Rock Cafe in Temple Bar (Not working)
12 – TP Smiths Pub on Jervis Street, but it’s a EURONET machine.
13 – Kimmage Road Lower – Mace, ATM inside (working March 2020) EURONET
14 – Ormond Quay – ATM inside newsagents beside Ormond house office. EURONET
15 – Harold’s Cross Road – Daybreak newsagents (working March 2020) EURONET
CORK :
1 – Inside Super Valu supermarket in Merchant’s Quay Shopping Centre (should be your first choice, the next two were offline in February)
Bank of China didn’t work.
China Merchants works – 14/09/19
ICBC works.
2 – Inside Costcutter shop at 33 Grand Parade – Didn’t work on BOC card 14/09/19
3 – Macau Casino – Patricks Quay
4 – ATM at Beál na blath service station.
WATERFORD :
1 – In the lobby of the Medieval Museum in Cathedral Square
2 – Inside Super Valu supermarket in HyperCentre on Morgan Street
GALWAY :
1 – ATM in the central walkway of Eyre Square shopping centre (Corbett Court). Walk from Williamsgate Street
2 – In the City Link bus depot there are 2 machines – BOC Card worked 14/09/19
3 – Corrib Shopping Centre, in newsagents opposite Debenhams fragrances
KERRY :
1 – Outside Eagers Newsagent, No 16 Main Street, Killarney
2 – Outside Killarney Outlet Centre near the Railway Station (EURONET not working for some people)
GOREY :
ATM inside XL Convenience Store on Main Street (next to Bus Eireann stop) – ATM removed now
LOUTH :
Marshes shopping centre Dundalk (EURONET)
NORTHERN IRELAND :
All Barclays and ASDA machines
Enniskillen: ATM in Asda (working 10/06/2020) may depend on bank card
Strabane: Atm in Asda
Belfast : Barclays Bank across from Mc Donald’s at the top of castle street, and on Upper Newtownards Road in Ballyhackamore
How to find ATMs that accept Union Pay:
Go to https://www.visa.com/atmlocator/mobile/index.jsp#%28page:home%29
Search in your location.
Look for machines owned by Euronet 360 Finance Limited. Addresses will be given, but they may be incomplete. The machine will perhaps be in a Costcutter, Super Valu or somewhere often frequented by tourists.
Also, the Titanic center in Belfast now accepts WeChat and Alipay.
